6/23/2023 0 Comments Reinstalling wacom drivers![]() I can toggle the pad to PC mode by holding the leftmost and rightmost button for a few seconds. This is confirmed by the output of libwacom-list-local-devices (output shown in the original question) as well as the output of lsusb which lists the vendor ID of the device as 2d1f (as noted in the link above on the issue). If I plug it into the laptop, the device automatically goes into Android mode. ![]() I am using a Wacom Intuos S on Ubuntu 18.04. I have since figured out part of the problem, so I am updating this question. The text of the original question preserved below. The original title of this question was "Only left half of Wacom Intuos S is working". Reinstalling drivers can make the problem worse. Avoid messing with anything else until you have tried this solution. You will notice that it has worked when the light at the top gets brighter. ![]() Second edit: Since this question keeps getting attention, I want to put a clear disclaimer at the top: if you are experiencing this problem, it will likely be solved by pressing and holding the left-most and right-most button on your pad at the same time for a few seconds.
